Salt Labs has an existing mobile application for employees. I was hired to design an employer portal that would allow employers to:
view high level stats on how their performance with Salt Labs is
look up employees and their SALT labs status
view and edit redemptions available for employees
easily check billing
manage files to update the employee roster
Before designing hi-fidelity screens, I laid out the information architecture and thought through navigation and UI patterns that might work best each functional screen in the application, maintaining the color palette and a few visual styles from the mobile application.
Eventually, I designed a scalable design system that will work for components throughout the application - buttons, navigation, cards, and other patterns.
After iterating further and finalizing on atomic level patterns, I applied the existing design system's type scale and color palette.
