I'm always imagining new product concepts or new features for frequently used apps. Here's my 30-day commitment to bringing all those visions to life! Enjoy, ponder, think about what could be…
Day 1
Capsule
Concerts are memorable. So memorable that every individual whips out their phone when their favorite artist plays their favorite song. That one song resonates enough for people to capture the moment. But then what happens with those moments?
Concert-goers either delete the video, or it takes up storage, awaiting the icloud storage warning. Once in a while, the attendee might play the recording and is brought back to a time - a live experience, filled with good energy, a memorable set, and an artist, who spent all their energy to design and deliver that experience.
Capsule organizes all the videos associated from a concert, using the native iphone’s photo location data, cross-referenced with ticket master history, which stores historical concert data, including artist, time, place, and venue. Using Shazam’s song matching algorithm, Capsule populates existing videos with the actual song title, and allows users to play the video recording and original song via Spotify. Avid concert-goers, like myself, can then enjoy those experiences easily, bringing them back to a memorable time.

I usually shazam multiple songs wherever I go, whether a cafe, restaurant or store. Based on my listening habits, shazaming more than 2 songs within a period, I'd love to know the playlist the songs that came from. Since music at public places usually stem from a playlist or radio, the data should be easily attainable to display.
Day 3
While listening to songs, I tend to resonate with some lyrics. In that instant, I want to be able to favorite the lyric. Making use of the karaoke functionality, a user should be able to highlight the lyric and eventually view all of their saved lyrics and notes.
Day 4
Memories are tied to a journey to a destination, an experience, like a concert, networking event or even comedy show. An iPhone already captures the data for each moment in time for users, so what if it also associated any pictures/videos throughout that time period to log eventful moments in one’s life?
Day 6
You've been Iced
Forming habits is hard. It's recommended to drink 8 glasses of water a day, but are people doing it? With apps like BeReal, platforms like music streaming, fitness, and even financial transactions becoming social, what if habit-forming starting with drinking water also became social. Users can hold their friends accountable for drinking water 8 times throughout the day by sending a selfie of themselves drinking water.
Day 7
Google Meets +1
In corporate meetings, most people are backing up another co-worker's insightful comment typically involving strategy with a +1. What if at the end of every Google Meets call, there was a leadership scoreboard of coworkers with the most plus 1s? 🤔
Day 8
If only you menu
Sometimes it's hard to know exactly what you want to eat. Especially when you're in a new city. Behaviorally, a true foodie looks through every line item in a menu to see if there's an appeal dish. What if you could search a cuisines, and easily search through menus for that cuisine in your area? Would it make decision making a lot easier!
